Badgie Golf features
Your official RFEG handicap, nothing to type
Badgie Golf does not compute a handicap of its own: it reads the official one from the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, the one that counts in any tournament, and updates it every morning with your official rounds and tournaments. Your history, your average and your projection, kept forever.
Free- Daily
- Your official handicap, every morning
- WHS
- The same one your club and the RFEG use

Link your licence once
Search your licence by name or number, confirm it is you and that is it. From then on your handicap, your handicap rounds and your official tournaments arrive in the app by themselves, stamped as official RFEG data.
History, average and projection
The chart of your handicap across seasons, your scoring average per round and what your handicap comes out to today against the official one. Score a round in the app and you see the projection before the federation processes it.
Public handicap search
Any golfer can look up an RFEG handicap on badgie.com without an account. It is the same data the app reads for you, and with it you can set up fair games with anyone.
In production
Daily RFEG handicap

Paper scorecard read by AI
One photo of the tournament card and the AI turns it into a hole-by-hole round, with the course and players matched.
What it does not do yet
- Only the RFEG and its regional federations: outside Spain there is no official handicap in the app.
- The handicap is the one the federation publishes; Badgie neither changes it nor computes it on its own.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the Badgie Golf handicap the official one?
- Yes. It is the WHS handicap the RFEG publishes for your licence, read every day. Badgie does not invent a handicap of its own: if the federation's figure changes, the app's changes with it.
- Do I have to enter my rounds for it to update?
- No. Handicap rounds and official tournaments come from the federation. If you score a round in the app, you also see the projection of your handicap before the federation processes it.
- Can I see a friend's handicap?
- Yes, with the public RFEG handicap search on badgie.com, no account needed. If your friend also uses Badgie Golf, you see their rounds in Hole 19 and you can play games with each one's handicap.
- Does it work if I am not federated?
- Yes for everything else: live scorecard, GPS, rounds, stats and Morris. Without a licence there is no official handicap, but the app computes your Stableford and your Strokes Gained with the handicap on your profile.
