El campo tiene superficie de césped artificial y una grada contigua. Se inauguró durante la temporada 2007-08 y las fuentes consultadas le atribuyen un aforo de unos 370 espectadores sentados, aunque otros directorios citan cifras mayores.
La Unión Deportiva Atios se fundó el 4 de agosto de 1969 y viste camiseta a rayas rojiblancas. Compite en Preferente Galicia, quinta categoría del fútbol español. En la temporada 2019-20 llegó por primera vez a Tercera División, tras cincuenta años en categorías regionales, y descendió al cabo de una temporada. En 2024-25 disputó la final de la promoción de ascenso, que perdió frente al Celtiga.
