La instalaciĂłn fue objeto de una rehabilitaciĂłn financiada por el Instituto de Deportes del Cabildo de Gran Canaria, con una inversiĂłn de 415.296,89 euros, que incluyĂł cĂ©sped artificial de nueva generaciĂłn de 60 mm, nuevo sistema de riego, porterĂas, banquillos, redes de contenciĂłn de balones y marcador.
El CD Calero juega aquĂ como local, tanto en fĂștbol base como en categorĂas regionales.
