El Ayuntamiento renovĂł el campo con cĂ©sped artificial (sistema Mondo X3 Plus, unos 6.667 metros cuadrados) y le añadiĂł un videomarcador led, con una inversiĂłn cercana a 390.000 euros que incluyĂł tambiĂ©n la urbanizaciĂłn de los accesos. SegĂșn las fichas consultadas, su aforo ronda las 1.000 personas.
El Tejar es la sede del Club Deportivo Belchite 97, fundado en 1997. Su primer equipo compite en Tercera DivisiĂłn y el filial juega en Segunda Regional.
