El Mayato
El Mayato es el campo municipal de fútbol de Chío, en el municipio de Guía de Isora (Tenerife). Durante años fue el único campo de tierra que quedaba en el municipio, y hoy es la instalación donde juegan los equipos locales, entre ellos la U.D. Chío.
La reforma, financiada por el Cabildo de Tenerife junto con la Federación Tinerfeña de Fútbol dentro del programa Tenerife Verde Plus, supuso una inversión de unos 333.540 euros y la ejecución corrió a cargo de Mondo Ibérica. La obra sustituyó la tierra por césped artificial con homologación FIFA Quality, con nivelación del terreno, drenaje, red de riego con grupo de presión y base de asfalto. El campo está marcado para fútbol 11 y fútbol 7 y cuenta con porterías para ambos formatos. Antes de la obra, el Cabildo y el Ayuntamiento habían estabilizado el talud junto a la carretera TF-82 mediante un convenio de 2014.
La inauguración del nuevo terreno de juego se celebró con un partido entre la U.D. Chío y el C.D. Tenerife B, con presencia del presidente del Cabildo y autoridades locales.
