La Sociedad Deportiva Portmany se fundó el 1 de septiembre de 1923 con el nombre de C.D. Portmany, bajo la presidencia de Blas Perelló Bonet. Es el club de fútbol más representativo de Sant Antoni de Portmany y el más antiguo de la isla de Ibiza. Desde febrero de 2024 preside la entidad Mª José Castillo Torres, con una directiva elegida en asamblea extraordinaria que ejerce hasta 2026.
El primer equipo juega en el Campo Municipal de Fútbol de Sant Antoni, en el Camà General, 2. El recinto se inauguró en 1958, tiene capacidad para unos 890 espectadores y empezó como campo de tierra; hoy es de césped artificial, renovado por última vez en julio de 2018. Para el fútbol base, el club utiliza además un campo de fútbol 8 en el complejo polideportivo de Can Coix.
La estructura deportiva abarca desde la categorĂa prebenjamĂn hasta el primer equipo, con un equipo en Tercera DivisiĂłn (Grupo XI) y otro en Liga Nacional Juvenil (Grupo IX), además de cerca de una veintena de equipos en categorĂas regionales y más de 300 futbolistas en total.
El club ofrece carnés de socio con cuotas anuales desde 30 euros (jubilado y joven) hasta 200 euros (empresa). Su oficina atiende en el 971 805685 y en info@sdportmany.es.
