Activity log and security
To ensure the security and integrity of the platform, prevent fraudulent use and comply with the accountability principle (Art. 5.2 GDPR), Badgie keeps an audit log of the actions performed in the service. Where applicable, this log records the operation carried out (creation, modification or deletion of information), the user who performed it, the date and time, and the IP address they connect from. The legal basis for this processing is Badgie's legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) in security, traceability and fraud prevention. These logs are kept for a maximum of 12 months, after which they are automatically deleted. Credentials, passwords and access tokens are never stored in this log. You may exercise your right to erasure over this data as described in this policy.
Google Services (Google Calendar)
If you connect your Google account (for example, Google Calendar) to Badgie, we only access the data needed for the functionality you request: reading your calendar events to display them inside Badgie, and creating events that you expressly review and approve one by one before anything is written. Access tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and you can revoke the connection at any time from Badgie's Apps panel or from your Google account security settings. We do not sell or share this data, we do not use it for advertising, and no human reads it except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, or to comply with the law. Badgie's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Morris, the golf coach on WhatsApp
If you talk to Morris, Badgie Golf's golf coach, on WhatsApp or from morris.golf, BADGIE SPORTS APP SL processes the following data to provide that service: your WhatsApp number, name, language and country; the messages you exchange with Morris, your voice notes (which we transcribe into text) and the photos and swing videos you send; what Morris remembers about you (goals, preferences, your usual course or physical issues you tell him about); the data in your Badgie Golf account, which is the same account (handicap, RFEG licence and data, rounds, statistics and swing analyses); and the credentials of the services you choose to connect (for example, the RFEG or Garmin), which are stored encrypted and used only to read your golf data.
Purposes: answering your golf and rules questions, analysing your game and swing, connecting your golf services, sending you a single follow-up message when a question is left open, and improving the quality of the answers; for the latter, authorised Badgie staff may review conversations to correct and train Morris's behaviour.
Legal basis: the performance of the service you request by writing to Morris and, for improving the service, our legitimate interest.
Processors: Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) as the messaging channel; artificial intelligence providers, such as Anthropic, which generate the answers and, under their commercial terms, do not use your data to train their models; Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database hosted in the European Union) and Cloudinary (photos and videos). Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Retention: for as long as you use Morris. You can see and delete what Morris remembers at any time from «Your space». To delete your account and conversations, ask Morris: he will send you a link to a page where you confirm it; you can also write to hello@badgie.com.
Morris is intended for people aged 14 and over. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability as described in this policy.
