Quick answer
In Badgie an exercise (drill) is a test scored with a single number: a time, a distance, a number of hits. Each student attempt is a score; Badgie keeps them all, flags the personal best (PB) and shows the club's best on each exercise. It's managed in Training, on the Exercises and Scores tabs.
In this guide
Where to find it
- Web: Academy → Training (/dashboard/workouts), Exercises and Scores tabs. If your club only has the exercises module on, open /dashboard/workouts?tab=exercises.
- Student app: an exercises section with their scores and progress.
Create an exercise
- On Exercises, click New exercise.
- Give it a name, code (for example NAT-50-CROL), category and duration.
- Set the Scoring: the unit (s, m, points…) and the direction: lower is better (times) or higher is better (distances, hits). You can add a range and a benchmark.
- Add the goal, equipment and steps.
The table shows each exercise with its code, category, minutes, scoring, number of scores and the club's best. Filter by With marks, Unused, scoring, source or category, and export to Excel.
Exercise card and logging scores
Scores, personal bests and rankings
The Scores tab lists every score with date, student, group, exercise, category, score and who logged it. The PB tag marks the student's personal best on that exercise.
- Filter by period (This week, This month, Season, All), group, exercise, category or Logged by.
- Switch on Personal bests only and filter one exercise to get the group ranking: each student's best score.
What the student or family sees
In the app, students see their exercises, their scores and their best on each one, so they know whether they're improving.
By sport
Swimming: 25, 50 or 100 m times and breath-hold distance. Golf: short-game and putting tests scored in points. Tennis or padel: hits on target. Football: speed and dribbling tests. Any sport that can be measured with a number.
