Quick answer
Badgie includes a bookings module with a court grid by time slot, in the style of booking apps, and a public page where anyone can book and pay online. The price depends on the start time, payment is processed securely with Stripe and the club shares its own public link to receive bookings.
In this guide
What it includes
- Calendar: the court grid by hour. Each slot shows as free, booked or blocked; one click on a free slot creates the booking.
- Bookings list with filters.
- Spaces and Courts: categories (for example, padel court or kayak) and each court or space with its location, schedules and prices.
- Time-band pricing: a base price plus rules by time band, for example peak hours, weekends or happy hour.
- Services: spaces that sell catalogue services with their own duration and price.
- Blocks: maintenance, events or temporary closures.
- Invoicing: a booking can be invoiced and the invoice appears in Finance like any other.
It works for any space booked by the hour: padel, tennis or pickleball courts, and also equipment such as kayaks or boats at a watersports school.
Step by step: publish your online bookings
- In Spaces and Courts, create your categories and your courts with their weekly schedules and prices.
- If you are going to take payment online, connect Stripe in Finance.
- Open Online bookings and switch the module on.
- In the Payment tab, choose the method: online only, at the club only, or both.
- In Brand, add the club's name, description, header image, colour and facilities (café, changing rooms, parking…).
- In Rules, choose the bookable durations and write your cancellation policy.
- Choose which courts to publish, switch the page from draft to published and copy the link to share it.
What the person booking sees
Whoever opens the club's link sees real-time availability, picks a date, taps a free slot, chooses the duration and pays securely. Confirmation is immediate. The price depends on the start time and scales proportionally with the chosen duration.
If the club accepts payment at the club, the booking is confirmed without paying online and the customer pays there. The club can decide that those bookings stay pending until it confirms them.
Equipment rental
If the club rents out equipment (skis, boards, wetsuits, bikes or kayaks), Badgie also has an Equipment rental module, switched on in Integrations: inventory, over-the-counter rental, bookings for future dates, payment through Finance and return check-in, with QR codes for each item.
Where it is available
- Web: calendar, courts, prices, blocks, online booking settings and equipment rental.
- Public page: the club's online booking page, which opens in any browser, including on mobile.
Frequently asked questions
Can I charge different prices by time of day?
Yes. Each category has a base price and you can add rules by time band and day. In online booking, the start time decides.
Do I have to take payment online?
No. You can choose online only, at the club only, or both. To take payment online you need Stripe connected in Finance; Badgie charges a small fee per online booking.
Can two bookings overlap on the same court?
No. Badgie prevents two active bookings from taking the same court at the same time, and if someone grabs a slot just before another person, the second person is asked to pick another.
Can I publish only some courts?
Yes. You choose which courts appear on the public page; the rest are still managed only from the internal calendar.
