Quick answer
In Badgie, a coach can give an internal card, yellow or red, to a player in their team from the app, in training, a match or another moment, with a note about what happened. The club sees these internal cards in Cantera → Cards next to the official cards from match sheets, with totals by colour, by source and week by week. Internal cards belong to the club only: neither the player nor the family sees them.

Where to find it
- Issue a card: coach app, from the Issue card quick action on the home screen or from the session in the calendar.
- Board: Cantera → Cards menu, with the Cards and Players views and the season picker.
- Per player: player profile → Football → Cards.
How a coach issues a card
- In the coach app tap Issue card (or open it from the session, which already loads that class's players).
- Which team? Pick one of your teams. You can only card players in teams you coach.
- Who gets the card? Search for the player.
- Yellow or red?
- Where did it happen? Training, match or other.
- What happened? Type the note or dictate it with the mic. A padlock notice reminds you: "Only your club sees it. Not the player or their family."
- Tap Send card. If you made a mistake, Undo removes it straight away.
How the club sees it
The board combines two sources. Internal cards are the ones coaches give. Match-sheet cards are read from the matches recorded in Badgie, never copied: if the sheet is corrected, the board changes.

The Players view adds up yellows, reds, match-sheet cards, total and date of the last one per player. Filter by team and coach, search for a player and switch season.
On each player's profile, Football → Cards shows their cards for the season, internal and from match sheets, with the same summary.
The club can delete a card from its detail with Delete card; the deletion is logged. A player no longer at the club shows as "Former player".
What players and families see
Internal cards are not visible to the player or the family and trigger no notifications. Official match cards are part of their match-sheet statistics.
By sport
Internal cards belong to the football Cantera module and switch on with it.
With the AI agent
The AI team reads match-sheet cards through player statistics (get_football_player_card, get_squad_player_stats). Internal coach cards don't have a dedicated agent tool today: use the Cards board to see them.
Frequently asked questions
What's the point of an internal card if families don't see it?
It gives the club an objective record of conduct in training and matches to spot patterns by player, team or coach.
Can any coach card any player?
No. Only players in the teams where they are listed as coach.
Do match-sheet cards have to be entered by hand?
No. They come from the match sheet recorded in Badgie.
Is it the same as the red behaviour face?
No. The face rates every present player in each session; a card is a one-off event with a note.
