Per-session behaviour and red-face reasons in Badgie
How coaches rate each player's behaviour in every session with three faces, how the reason for a red face is recorded, and how the club analyses it by player, team and session.

Quick answer
In Badgie, the coach gives each player present one face per session: Good, Neutral or Bad. When choosing the red one, the coach can pick one or more reasons (lack of attention, lack of respect, breaks the rules, late, low effort or other). Management sees it all in Cantera → Behaviour: by player, team, session, in a matrix and in a red-faces-only view with a count per reason. It is internal club data: families and players don't see it.

Where to find it
- Rating: in the calendar session, in the Behaviour sheet next to taking attendance (web), and in the coach app.
- Analysis: Cantera → Behaviour menu (also Calendar → Behaviour), with the Players, Teams, Sessions, Matrix and Red faces views.
- Per player: player profile → Agenda → Behaviour.
- The module is on by default and can be switched off in Modules.
How a session is rated
- Take attendance. Players marked absent get no face.
- Open Behaviour. One tap sets the face, another tap on the same one removes it: no face means "not rated", which is not the same as neutral.
- If most behaved well, All OK gives the middle face to everyone without one; then change by hand whoever behaved well or badly. Once everyone has a face, the same button becomes Clear all.
- When you tap Bad, Why? appears in the player's row with six reasons: Lack of attention, Lack of respect, Breaks the rules, Late, Low effort and Other. Pick several or none.
- Click Save behavior. Nothing is saved before that. Changing a red face to another face drops its reasons.
General notes about the session go in the coach's notes, as free text.
How the club analyses it
The board filters by season, month, quarter or dates, and by team and coach. On the right it summarises the % of good faces, the Good/Neutral/Bad split, sessions with faces (coverage) and the week-by-week trend.

Red faces and reasons
The Red faces view lists every red face with the player, session, reasons and who gave it. The side panel counts red faces By reason: tap one to filter (a red face with several reasons counts in each). Repeat offenders flags anyone with more than one in the period. Red faces given before this feature show as "No reason".

Any row opens a side panel: the player's panel shows their session-by-session history, including absences, and links to the profile.
On the player profile
Under Agenda → Behaviour you see sessions rated, % Good, Neutral and Bad against the previous period, sessions attended without a rating and faces per week.
What players and families see
Nothing. Behaviour is working data for the coaching staff and management: neither the player nor the family sees it in the app.
By sport
It works in any sport with sessions and attendance. In a football club it sits in the Cantera menu and talks about players and teams; in other sports it lives in Calendar → Behaviour with students and groups.
With the AI agent
The get_behavior_summary tool gives the AI team the behaviour summary by player, team or period, including red-face reasons. Ask, for example: "Which players have the most red faces this month and why?" or "How is Cadete B's behaviour compared with last month?". Setting faces is done in the session sheet.
Frequently asked questions
Is a reason required for a red face?
No. Reasons are optional and a red face can be saved without one.
Can I add my own reasons?
Today the list is fixed: the six reasons above. For nuance, use "Other" and the coach's notes.
Does a session without faces count as neutral?
No. No face means not rated and is left out of every percentage.
Is the coach scored on their players' behaviour?
No. What is measured for the coach is whether they rate (coverage), not whether players behave.
Do families see it?
No, it is internal to the club.
