Football matches and calendar in Badgie: create matches and import the federation fixtures (RFFM, FFCV, RFAF)
How each team's matches get into Badgie: by hand with New match or imported from the federation (RFFM, FFCV and RFAF), with results, match sheets and confirmed kick-off times, and how they show up in the team schedule and in Competition.

Quick answer
Every Cantera team has its matches in the Competition tab and, alongside training sessions, in the Schedule tab. Matches are created by hand with New match or arrive on their own when you link the team to its federation: Badgie imports the group's fixtures, results, match sheets and league table from the RFFM (Madrid), the FFCV (Valencian Community) and the RFAF (Andalusia). Before each weekend, a panel asks you to confirm the real kick-off time of the matches in the next 7 days.

Where to find it
- CANTERA › Teams › (a team) › Schedule: training sessions and matches from the last month and the next four, with Sync, New match and Create training.
- CANTERA › Teams › (a team) › Competition: every match of the season with its result, Import match sheet and New match.
- CANTERA › Competition: matches from every team in the club in a single table, with filters for team, season, competition, status and venue.
- Customize your Badgie › RFFM / FFCV / RFAF: the connection to the federation.
Step by step
Create a match by hand
- Open the team, go to Competition (or Schedule) and click New match.
- Choose the Opponent: an external opponent or an internal squad from the club.
- Set the Type (League, Cup, Tournament, Friendly, Pre-season or Playoff), the Competition, the Season and the Matchday. Always choose the season: the field starts empty (the «2025/26» you see is only an example).
- Enter the Date & time and the Venue (Home or Away). The ground is taken from the opponent's record in Rival clubs.
- Leave the Status as Scheduled. Once it has been played, it changes to Played with Home goals and Away goals (or fills in automatically from the live match or the match sheet).
You can also create a match from Call-ups › New match («Create and call up») or from the coach app.
Review the team's season
The team's Competition tab sums up points by competition (PY, W, D, L, GF, GA, GD) and lists matches with date, competition and matchday, opponent, venue, result (W/D/L) and status. From each row you can download the blank or completed match sheet as a PDF, open the match report, edit the line-up and events, edit the match details or open its record by tapping the opponent.

Confirm kick-off times
When the season's fixtures are loaded, matches come in with a default time. In the team's Schedule, the Match times · next 7 days panel shows each of the week's matches with its status:
- Unconfirmed: nobody has checked the time. Correct it or click It is right.
- Federation: the federation published the time and Badgie sets it automatically.
- Checked: someone at the club has checked it. If it changes, correct it with Save time.
Once everything has been reviewed, the panel shows All confirmed.
See all the club's matches
In CANTERA › Competition you see the matches of every team, with the same match sheet, report and edit icons on each row and export to Excel.
Importing the federation fixtures
Badgie connects to three regional federations. There is no URL or code to paste: you look up your club by name.
- RFFM (Madrid Football Federation): choose the Season, type your club's name and click Search (or «Search by competition and group»); all of its teams appear with their competition and group.
- FFCV (Valencian Football Federation): club › team › Link and sync.
- RFAF (Andalusian Football Federation): 1. Find your club in the federation · 2. Season and competition · 3. Group · 4. Team to link.
In all three, each federation team is linked to a team you already have in Cantera, or you choose Create a new squad in Cantera.
What is imported and how often
- The group's fixtures, results and official match sheets, the league table and the squad's licences (the RFFM only publishes the squad for the current season).
- Match sheets are checked every hour after matches, so they usually arrive the same evening. Fixtures are refreshed daily (RFAF) or every Monday (RFFM and FFCV), and the official league table is also updated daily. The Sync button forces an update.
- Each linked team shows «Synced with … · … ago» or, if something goes wrong, «… sync is failing».
- The Federation strip on the squad flags players with no licence, with a suspended licence or «to reconcile» between the federation and the squad.
Football ISM match sheets
Football ISM is not a federation: it is the management system some professional clubs' academies use. Its «Ficha de Partido» PDF is imported with Import match sheet in the team's Competition tab, just like a photo of a paper match sheet (see the guide to the AI-read match sheet).
What players and families see
- Each match appears in the player's and their family's Badgie app calendar, with opponent, time and ground, and moves automatically if the time changes.
- When they open the match in the app, they see whether they have been called up, the meeting time and their stats for the season with that team.
- The club sees its team's league table and results; families see their own within each match.
By format
- The federation import brings in 7-a-side, 8-a-side and 11-a-side football for the categories the federation publishes.
- Match length (for example 2 × 25 for U12s or 2 × 45 for U18s) is set in the match line-up or in the app when the live match starts.
- Matches for non-affiliated teams, tournaments and friendlies are created by hand.
With the AI agent
The AI Team reads matches with `get_squad_matches` (a team's matches), `get_squad_schedule` (team schedule), `get_football_standings` and `get_team_standings` (league table). It can import a match sheet with `import_match_sheet` as a proposal that the club approves. It does not create matches or link federations: that is done on the web or in the coach app.
Frequently asked questions
Is my federation supported?
Today Badgie imports from the RFFM (Madrid), the FFCV (Valencian Community) and the RFAF (Andalusia). If your federation is not one of them, you create matches by hand or import each match sheet with Import match sheet.
Do I need to create the teams before linking the federation?
No. When linking, you can choose an existing team or Create a new squad in Cantera.
What happens if the federation changes a match time?
The next sync updates it and the match is marked «Federation». If the match has a published call-up, the call-ups board flags it as a change still to be announced.
Can I add a friendly that is not on the federation's fixtures?
Yes, with New match and the Friendly or Pre-season type. It sits alongside the imported matches.
Where do I see the league table?
On the dashboard home page, Competition tab: each team with its form, record, matches and position, and tapping it shows its league table. You can also ask the AI agent for it. With a federation-affiliated club, the official league table is updated daily.
