How to use TrackMan in Badgie: import, bag, ranking, challenges and tests
Import your students' TrackMan sessions into Badgie, follow their bag and progress club by club, compare them with the PGA Tour, run academy rankings and challenges, and keep track of their tests.

Quick answer
Badgie imports each student's TrackMan sessions and turns them into their measured bag (average carry per club and gaps between clubs), their progress, their shot dispersion and a comparison with PGA Tour averages. The academy connects its TrackMan account once, links each TrackMan profile to its student, and from then on Badgie imports their new sessions every hour.
In this guide
Where to find it
- Web: Golf → TrackMan (/dashboard/golf/trackman), with the tabs Players, Import sessions, Ranking, Academy, Challenges and Tests, the How to connect button and Archived.
- Each student's TrackMan profile: The bag, Analysis, Evolution, Tests, Sessions, Videos and Import.
- Visible to the club owner and their collaborators, with the golf module active.
Connecting TrackMan
- Open Import sessions (or How to connect).
- Download the connector extension (Download the extension (.zip)), unzip it and load it in Chrome from chrome://extensions with developer mode turned on.
- Open TrackMan as Coach, click the extension icon and confirm the account and the destination school.
- In Badgie, review the activities, choose the student for each one and confirm the import.
- Link each TrackMan profile to its student (Link). From then on their new sessions come in on their own every hour; Import linked sessions speeds it up.
If you can't use the extension, Advanced options: connect with a token lets you paste the token from your TrackMan portal. And for a one-off session you can paste the link to a TrackMan report or upload a photo or PDF of the report (see the guide on reading by photo or PDF).
The academy at a glance
- Players: each student with their clubs worked on, sessions, shots, videos, tests and last activity; on the right, the total number of shots and the most-worked clubs.
- Ranking: who leads by club and period in carry distance, ball speed, club speed, smash, accuracy and improvement. Download it as a PDF and share it with a link that you can withdraw under Published links.
- Academy: the average bag of all your students, with the band between players, and a table per club with carry, speeds, smash and dispersion.
- Challenges: you pick 2 to 4 players with the same club and period; whoever has the better value wins each metric, and the scoreboard counts the metrics won.
- Tests: the results of the TrackMan tests (for example, wedges from 40 to 110 m or the TrackMan Combine), per student and with the group's average, median and range.
The student's TrackMan profile
- The bag: average carry of each club and the real distance between one club and the next, with a card for each club and its trend. You can look at the last session, the last 3, 5 or 10, all of them, or by month, quarter or year.
- Analysis: shot dispersion and the comparison with the PGA Tour and average amateur averages.
- Evolution: ball and club speed, smash factor, launch angle and direction, spin, carry and total distance over time.
- Tests, Sessions and Videos: the student's tests, each session with its shots, and the video of each shot if the studio has cameras; the videos also go to Video Analysis.
- Import: paste the link to a report or upload a photo or PDF for this student only.
What the student sees
In the app, the student sees their measured bag: the real distance of each club based on their linked TrackMan sessions. Their data can also go into their golf report.
With the AI agent
The Badgie agent looks up the TrackMan data of a linked student (get_trackman_player): average carry per club, gaps between clubs, number of sessions and the detail of a session.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to import every session by hand?
No. Once the TrackMan profile is linked to its student, Badgie imports their new sessions every hour.
Why does a student have no data?
Almost always because their TrackMan profile isn't linked yet. Check it in Import sessions.
What if my academy uses Foresight or FlightScope?
Upload a photo or PDF of the report from the student's Import tab: the AI reads the metrics for each club.
Can I set aside sessions I don't want to count?
Yes: archive them. They stop counting in the statistics and you can recover them from Archived.
