Cantera with the AI team: what to ask about call-ups, match sheets, attendance and league
Real examples of what a youth football coordinator can ask Badgie's AI team: call-ups, match reports and sheets in PDF, attendance, standings, the weekend round-up, behaviour and methodology.

Quick answer
Badgie's AI team (Super Coach) answers in plain language about your Cantera using the club's real data: how a team is doing in the league, the weekend round-up for every team, who is missing training, the state of this weekend's call-ups, or a match report and sheet as a PDF. It reads the same tables as the dashboard, so it doesn't make results up: if something is missing, it says so.
In this guide
Where to find it
- Web: the Super Coach button in the sidebar or the ⌘J / Ctrl+J shortcut from any dashboard screen. Your conversations sit on the left, grouped by date and searchable.
- Badgie Agents Mac app and mobile apps: the same conversations outside the browser.
- Each answer uses the club's AI credits; the balance shows at the top of the chat.
What to ask (with demo examples)
League and standings
"How is Alevín A doing in the league?" returns position, points, the top of the table, the season's matches, top scorers and the next match with time and ground (get_football_standings, get_team_standings and get_squad_matches).

Weekend round-up
"Give me the weekend round-up for all teams" returns a table with each team's result and scorers and the win/draw/loss balance, then offers to prepare a results poster for the club's social media.
Attendance
"How is training attendance this month? Is anyone dropping off?" gives the % per team and flags players with several sessions in a row missed (get_attendance_summary, get_attendance_risk_students).
Call-ups
"How are this weekend's call-ups?" lists each match with its call-up status (not started, draft or published), version, unannounced changes and how many called-up players have the app; for a specific team it shows the next match's call-up (get_match_callups). Call-ups are built and published in Call-ups.
Match sheets and reports
"Send me Juvenil A's report against Atalaya" returns a link to the match PDF: if played, the report with score, minutes, goals, assists, cards, substitutions and the eleven; if not, the preview with the call-up and planned eleven. It also produces the blank paper match sheet to fill in (get_match_document). And if you send it a photo or PDF of a match sheet, it reads it and proposes an import you review before applying (import_match_sheet).

Behaviour, cards and methodology
"Which players have the most red faces this month and why?" (get_behavior_summary), "What is Infantil A working on this week?" (get_microcycles) or "How many players do we have in each team?" (get_squad_roster). Match-sheet cards come with player statistics (get_football_player_card).
Step by step
- Open Super Coach from the sidebar button or with ⌘J.
- Type or dictate your question using the team name as it appears in Cantera (Alevín A, Juvenil B…).
- Check the answer: tables and figures come from the club's data. If the agent flags something missing (a match sheet not imported, a call-up not published), complete it in the dashboard.
- If you send it a match sheet, it first shows you what it read and you review it before applying.
What players and families see
None of these conversations: Super Coach belongs to club staff. Families receive what the club publishes (call-ups, notices) through the usual channels.
By sport
The AI team works across every Badgie sport. League, call-up, match-sheet and match-report tools belong to the football Cantera.
Frequently asked questions
Where do results and standings come from?
From matches recorded in Badgie and, if the club has it connected, from the federation. It doesn't browse random websites.
Can it create and publish a call-up on its own?
No. It reads call-up status and shows you the next match's call-up; the call-up is prepared and published in Cantera → Call-ups.
Can it prepare a match sheet?
Yes, as a PDF: the blank paper sheet with the called-up players, or filled in if the match was played. It never writes one by hand: it comes from the club's data.
Does it use credits?
Yes, each answer uses the club's AI credits; the balance shows in the chat header.
